I wish OpenNIC had some IP addresses as simple as 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4, because although I use OpenNIC when I have time, I often end up using Google's DNS when I want a simple fix for DNS problems. One really annoying thing is how Networkmanager always resets my DNS to the ISP one, meaning that I have to manually set it and often don't want to go through the effort to find good OpenNIC IPs.

I think it would be good for SaidIt to support thumbnails from such domains. Even if only a tiny bit, it would help the network effect!

Can you help us pull it off? I've got a todo list like a year long. Not to sound all negative. Like what would this entail?

All it would entail would be to set the DNS of the thumbnail server to OpenNIC :) . Setting the DNS could be rather hard in some cases (I have had some issues with it resetting due to Networkmanager) but this should fix that issue.
