For a year now I been running from bans and censorship for being who I am and after searching so long I had found a community that shared my thoughts and experiences and felt safe .

Until today where reddit drop the bombs on us and sent us all scattering to find a new home.

I'm angry more than sad.

Today I lost two things ....my uncle and my social media home .

My name is Midnight and I'm a lesbian.

As for reddit, I'm right there with you. I spent over a decade on reddit, IRL meetups in multiple states included. The last two spent dodging censorship, evading bans, nuking accounts. At this point, looks like they're purging sane people from the site entirely.

Feels odd to me. But then I've heard of horseshoe theory and it kinda makes sense.

Also, I came of age in the 90s, when they warned us about banning the speech we hated because it would eventually lead to the speech we liked being banned too. Once the bans start everyone gets lumped in together.

I don't mind it to be honest at least on the right wing LGBT group we all could have a decent conversation like human beings and most trans agreed that it's wrong to force us to date them on that group.

Since the liberals are taking away our right to say no away along with other things . I would say it's no surprise that they lumped us together as alt right .

I used to be a liberal but since this dangerous movement started I switched my opinions.

I'm not really a conservative either , but more like an equalitytist . Equal rights for all and stuff .

LGBT conservatives you can actually talk to LGBT liberals you can't. That's how I see it anyways .
