I'm not a fan of the concept of a safe space or any form of echo chamber for that matter. There are people I explicitly keep friended/follow just because they have opinions that are nearly complete opposites of mine. I think it is important to consider both sides of a debate just simply to make sure I don't get so full of my own opinions that they lose touch with reality. That being said, there is a difference between having an opposing view and outright toxicity.
Originally came to said it because of /s/watchpeopledie but then I saw gender-critical had been moved here and with the same kind of morbid curiosity was curious to read what goes on there. Never knew of that sub until it got banned from Reddit, and from what I have seen I'm interested to engage in discussion with them on their views while being a MtF transgender person myself. I do not believe that I will change their views, more so just am interested in hearing theirs so that my own views are better informed.
