so I came here, I'm gonna wean myself off Reddit slowly, and hope SaidIt can fill the void and be better with more real people and less shills and less corrupt moderation.

Shitty mods exist here too. If you are in a sub and say something against their subs narrative they will ban you. It's not rampant here yet because there is a low population.

There is no escaping power hungry ban hammering teenage edge lord mods.

Well, logically when the site is small, the bans are fewer. When the site will become big and some corporate will own it, then the bans and content hiding will increase here too. So I'll just enjoy SaidIt while it's still small. There will be another alternative when SaidIt also becomes like Reddit.

I'm trying, but I've been banned from subs here already for not sharing the hive mind of those subs. It's rampant online now, you challenge a narrative of something, they tell you to get the fuck out. These people only want circlejerks, no discussion.

What happened to the people who started Reddit? There must be someone from the beginning of Reddit there. Even 4chan still have people from before 2008. Most of traditional games /tg are from the beginning.

Just wait a bit and make a new account if you want back on Reddit. Saidit is better in my personal opinion, but just on general principal if people here were only those who couldn't figure out how to get back on reddit, well, that's not ideal.

I still have a reddit account despite several "permanent bans" that I hardly ever use.

No, the whole mod culture there stinks. They think they have some kind of superpower. It's nauseating. I'm fine here. It's better to have less crowd and noise. Quality discussions can happen here. And anyway, 90% of all Reddit comments are just 4-5 word attempts at being funny.

It was forgiven when Unidan did it, most notably, but Reddit constantly allows ban evasions for the Quality People.
