“We’ve got five books here that are labeled as controversial and they’re controversial because of words like rape and incest and sexual references and language and things that are pretty serious problems, especially in our teenage world. Is there a reason that we include books that we even label as controversial in our curriculum? I would prefer that these were gone,” said Taylor.

Why should teenagers need t osee controversial thing? They should only be exposed to completely unchallenging ideas and books.

This is okay: Rape, Sex, Incest and strong language are too heavy for the tiny sensitive minds of 16 year olds to handle. Why, none of them have even seen a tit yet, let alone learned about the darker side of human nature. Let's not give them the apple before they are old enough to handle it. 40 is a good age.
