To be fair in their employee training Disney are very clear they will abide by local equality law and no more. In the UK course they even specifically point out trans people can't accuse people of discrimination, only normal bullying, because they are not a protected group.

I'm sure this is just so they can put a woke front on for PR. In the workings of the corp the bottom line comes first.

Corporate America is trying to get better at hiding the true intentions behind such pushes. Whereas in the past it would be all wamen and non-white, they're trying to mask it by chucking in the disabled while doubling-down on unconscious bias as the main source of supposed systemic inequity. By de-emphasising the anti-white and anti-male messages they both look better and make it less likely they'll be sued by people feeling targeted for being in supposed oppressor classes.

Expect to see similar changes happening throughout corporate America. Same hateful bullshit under a new guise.
