KiA2 MetaWelcome refugees from /r/kotakuinaction

This sub was created as another option for users departing /r/kotakuinaction for the self-post rule change shenanigans of February 2019.

If this sub gains traction, an initial small group of moderators will be appointed until proper mod elections can be held.

Rules besides the sitewide rules will be drafted, preferably as a constitutional base allowing for amendments if needed.

Nothing and everything. It's a forum to discuss gaming and the SJWs present day (since it used to be right wingers that waged war against us) war on gamers and gaming. Tons of shit posting. Lots of Japanese culture. Lots of clowning SJWs and man-hating feminists (redundant?).

Like any non-left-wing sub, it is in the cross hairs of the new Chinese overlords. Part of the reason I ditched Reddit and came here.

I found my people. I'm not the only one scared shitless of our new Chinese overlords. China's not fucking around. I've been saying this for a long time.. People are too oblivious to see what has been happening right in front of them and on their own turf. China has already become the world's new powerhouse, and we don't even know it. They are playing the long con.. a little at a time, to make sure no one notices. And, before you know it, they will pounce, and with one fell swoop, they will take over by shear force and numbers. They will take away any possibility of regaining what was lost. Controlling HK is just another step in their plan. By this time it's too late.

Thanks for explaining it. I don't do games. I do remember the fake news "Gamergate" hyped up distraction drama a few years ago.

i think that was a joke cuz china owns like 10% of reddit now, so they're not overlords persay but anything anti china gets censored there now. but a lot of things get censored on reddit

Apologies for the extremely late reply. This link explains the changes, how they came about, what the community reaction was, and how the mods pushed forward with their intentions, ignoring the community vote to not drastically change half-kia's posting rules (and therefore, content).
