God this title is depressing in about three ways at the same time. I guess as long as men are controlling the lesbian porn gate, the reddit men don’t care which ones they are.

There is true porn with real lesbians out there. So-called lesbian porn is tailored for men who don't want to see a dick in their porn and most of these gals are gay-for-pay.

There is so little real lesbian porn out there it may as well not exist. And honestly, I would rather there was no “real” lesbian porn out there for anyone to consume because I am sick of lesbians being a product for consumption. I hope they keep casting straight girls and leave real lesbians out of it. I don’t want any of these people, including straight women, to be better at cosplaying us.

There is real lesbian porn. It's usually very unlike straight-oriented porn with two women in heavy makeup going "Ooooh... aaaah.... lick my pussyyyy..."

I've seen some of it and it was like watching a documentary.

There was a yury sub that published the rule of only having true yury content without male genitalia, yet they had to backtrack because of blackslah. I mean, fuck off, the point of having a yury porn sites is not to see dicks.

But... some women have dicks... right?

Seriously, they're adding transwomen to straight male oriented "lesbian" porn now.

It looks like you missed the drama in r/yuri (anime lesbian soft porn) where the mods first asked with a poll if trans porn was welcome, and then introduced that rule trumping their own community wishes because it was the most woke thing to do.

The community was outraged also because there are subs dedicated to transbian porn, and they have different name because, you would never guess, not everyone likes dick in their lesbian porn.

That was an isolated incident though. The vast majority of men’s subreddits are not facing any backlash for this. I did an experiment where I posted transbian porn on a few of them and all of them removed the post. A few even got comments from straight men saying “this isn’t lesbian porn, fuck this garbage”

LOL did you report it to admins? That would presumably go against their new content policy, which explicitly prohibits discrimination based on gender identity

You know, just gonna put this here, but as a dude which has checked out hentai/ecchi/cartoon/western/3D porn for fucking ages, i'm legitimately so tired of how much fucking futanari has taken over everything. Can i please have my dudes fucking chicks like in the good old days?

Men are allowed to not say anything or say empty words about trans topics. They aren't expected to allow trans men in their spaces, they aren't expected to open up their dating pool to transwomen or trans men. Women ARE expected. Women who are lesbians HAVE to allow transwomen in, men who are straight/bisexual/gay don't have to let trans men or transwomen in.

Of course men wanting to watch actual lesbians don't want to watch two transwomen because they know they aren't lesbians. I bet some transbiens are in those subs as well.

Because the TRAs also want to be able to objectify real women on the porn pages, the "women" with penises "trigger their disphoria" so there can't be any of that on their porn pages

They got no disphoria and are pretty happy about their dicks, actually. They're all about pushing ladydicks.

[–]Gearbeta 15 insightful - 1 fun15 insightful - 0 fun16 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

I'm not so sure those subs are completely safe either. TRAs attacked r/yuri and are currently attacking subs centering anime memes because they want to use the word trap. Seems like without r/GC and r/LGBdroptheT they're attacking anything in their path that doesn't cater to them.

[–]kwallio 18 insightful - 1 fun18 insightful - 0 fun19 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

After the gc, lgbdropthet and the others were banned apparently they got bored.

Eventually every sub will be problematic to the point where the only subreddit left is AHS.

[–]DifferentAirGC 11 insightful - 3 fun11 insightful - 2 fun12 insightful - 3 fun -  (2 children)

Has anyone tried posting trans porn on r/lesbians, then reporting them to AHS when they delete it?

[–]luckystar 9 insightful - 2 fun9 insightful - 1 fun10 insightful - 2 fun -  (1 child)

We should try this lol. Either they're forced to admit the double standard, or they lose their precious porn as a consequence for not allowing lesbians to have conversations that aren't about men

[–]SkinnyVanilla 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Let's do it.

[–]yousaythosethingsFind and Replace "gatekeeping" with "having boundaries" 8 insightful - 2 fun8 insightful - 1 fun9 insightful - 2 fun -  (1 child)

Do they have a written rule about not allowing the posting of trans women on r/lesbians or is it that it gets tacitly removed if posted? OR is it that no so-called trans women care about being included there because it’s not validating enough?

[–]Astrid2448[S] 8 insightful - 2 fun8 insightful - 1 fun9 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

Both. Some of them outright have a rule against trans women and some remove it quietly.

[–]powpowpowpow 8 insightful - 1 fun8 insightful - 0 fun9 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

That's depressing...
