Pretty sure gays and homosexuals are the ones allowed to define what is offensive to us. Anyone else needs to stay in their own lane.

Oh yes, when i was called a "fucking faggot" on two different occasions recently by some ruffians, they were not insulting me. Its all agenda against some transtrenders.

But on the entirely different side, the sociopathic obsession of trans community to rewrite history must be challenged. Whatever they put out is accepted and respected by those who think they always say the truth, oppression and all. First came the lie about Marsha and Sylvia that they started the stonewall riots by throwing a brick. The brick was debunked because actual people who participated said there were no bricks. Then these people said it was a shot glass that was heard around the world. It was debunked by Making Gay History that claimed that none of them were there. They demonised the word transvestites. They changed the meaning of gender to suit their delusions. They changed the meaning of woman. They claim biological sex isn't real. They claim intersex as the spectrum that destroyes the binary. And now they said that thousands of gay men that were beaten, hunted, abused, assaulted or killed using those fucking words are lying are are just TERFs working against queer people.

Two words for these qweer people- Fuck off.

They changed the meaning of gender to suit their delusions

I mean... True, but GC ideology supporters also did that. Both, GC and trans' theories, of which are based on the works of John Money.

Lying.

Nope. If you look it up, both feminists/GC and TRAs adopted his works into their own ideologies. He who started the downgrading of a term that used to be for grammar and another way of saying sex (in the past but dropped out of style until he repopularized it with his gender vs sex distinction BS), and GC adopted that while TRAs went with the feelings/perception route. He's also the one who comes up when you search in who coined the term "gender" (within "societial expectations" definition).

You should discuss instead of accusing me of lying. It's no different to how TRAs act, mate.

Tell them older gay men said they are 100% wrong. Because we were there.

Not even just older gays: Any American who was alive before the 1990s would know those words and know that they were used as slurs.

Oh my goodness, right? Jesus, in elementary school any boy who exhibited any kind of GNC behavior was relentlessly hounded by the word faggot. It was a terrible, terrible thing to be called.

Dont even have to be that old, i was called a faggot in public a few years back in a liberal city... definitely no where NEAR the way it used to be, but it still fucking happens and theyre trying to gaslight us.

Well, I was born in 1960 and came out in 1980 so I remember those words being hurled around so hatefully when I was a child.

And it's not queer history; it's lesbian and gay history. Queer history only started in the 1990s.

Yea because faggot totally doesn't mean a bundle of sticks bound together to be burned and the reason homosexuals were called faggots was because they were burned alive for being gay...with a bundle of sticks tied at their feet.

When talking about words being literal violence, faggot ranks pretty fucking high up there if you ask me.

[–]GayNotQueer 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

A "faggot" was a bundle of sticks which was used to burn gay men, lesbians, heretics, pagans, "witches" during the beginning and middle of the Inquisition.

When those groups were exhausted financially (paying huge fines got people off -- I guess sin is okay but only if you pay, literally), those who were wealthy were targeted by the Church based on trumped-up or phony charges.

As Quentin Crisp once observed, "A gentleman homosexual is a faggot who has just left the room".

The word IS an unforgivable slur. I'm shocked TRAs think they can rewrite history to advance their interests at the expense of every other group, and nobody will notice, even those who are alive, now, and lived then through it.

The word was a slur and it still is and is used, currently, in that fashion.

They love to pulling out POC cards, so you can ask them "Is N-word a slur?" and say that "faggot" and "queer" is literally the same.

They're doing it? They're trying to reclaim faggot?

Mass peaking ahoy. Queer is a 6/10 on the gross word scale, but faggot ranks the full 10.

[–]GayNotQueer 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

DEFINITION: queer -- 1. strange; odd.

LGBs are NOT queer or strange or odd. Homosexuality exists in so many species -- common and natural. Trans is a new creation, medically, and does not, cannot, exist in the natural world.

There is nothing queer about me; but lots queer about TQ+.

They have been, Tumblr is overrun with "gay transmen" calling themselves the worst slurs they can think of. Some of it is teenagers being edgy but a majority of it is people who actually believe that heterosexual women can use the term if they identify hard enough with men. I never know whether to find it pathetic or infuriating how much they want to be taken seriously as "gay" "men"

[–]Willpoll 6 insightful - 1 fun6 insightful - 0 fun7 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Ugghh. Of course that's what they would say.

[–][deleted] 6 insightful - 1 fun6 insightful - 0 fun7 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

I would tell them: RESPECT YOUR GEN X AND BOOMER ELDERS BECAUSE THEY WERE RIDICULED WITH THOSE SLURS.

[–][deleted] 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Also the word Aspie became a slur now thanks to Encyclopedia Dramatica. It was once a medical term, but that word is just as gross as q***r.

There's no excuse for believing that unless they are really young and misinformed.

Wow. The word "faggot" in my language is EXTREMELY offensive and has multiple meanings. I can't imagine why someone would want to claim that word in English. I have been called "faggot" and a "tranny"(I am a GNC woman, i wanted to be a boy at one point and destransitioned) in English too while in english country, it sounds very gross.
