There are a few reasons for this. Men are generally empathetic, but women on average are more empathetic than men. So there is an expectation that women will be more accepting of transgenders than men as a result. When a woman refuses to go along with the delusions, it’s perceived as more hurtful.

Also, Reddit is run by liberals, who tend to virtue signal about women’s rights. I say "virtue signal", because obviously they don’t support women’s rights, they just want to incite conflict and division between the sexes. But anyway, liberal Redditors are perpetuating a narrative that men are assholes and women can do no wrong. When a man opposes trans ideology, the liberal Redditor is happy because this feeds the narrative that men are bad and need to have our behaviours corrected. But when a woman opposes the ideology that you can be whatever gender you want, this goes against the narrative and this effectively undermines it. Countering the narrative is far worse to the liberal Redditor than genuine bigotry. Hence, why female centric subs that oppose trans ideology are more likely to get banned than their male centric or coed counterparts. Hence why Reddit hates female dissenters more than male dissenters.

Men are more violent than women are. This explains why men commit more crimes than women do, but also why men tend to be safer on the streets at night than women. Trans activists and Reddit admins have anticipated that men are more likely than women to resist the narrative, because a man is more likely to be defiant than a woman and is more likely to resort to violence when backed into a corner. Plus, he’s more likely to put up a fight. A woman who is not only defiant but also standing up for herself and what she believes in is not something these activists are used to.

Finally, women who oppose gender ideology tend to be more on point than men who oppose it. They perceive it as a threat to women’s safety (public toilets, women’s shelters and changing rooms) and the status of women in society (sports, lesbians' spaces and marketing). Men also perceive the threat, but women are more likely to notice that it exists and notice the gravity of the threat. Men who oppose the ideology focus mostly on the degeneracy and the denial of biology and reality that comes with it. Those are fair concerns, but in a politically correct and decadent society, those concerns are often dismissed. But focusing on safety is a better strategy, because liberals want people to think they care about women (when obviously they don’t) and also because no sane person wants to feel unsafe. Lately, there has been a shift in focus by anti-trans groups from how trans ideology is degenerate to how trans ideology is harmful to women and girls, and it has so far been more successful. When a woman is active in opposing gender ideology, she is confirming this reality, which makes trans activists even more threatened. So they lash out more at sane women than they do at sane men.
