I take the "you don't look gay" comments as a compliment. To me, it means that I'm not a walking stereotype whose only characteristic is Gay. And you mentioned that there are no physical differences between gay and straight but there are between male and female, but they don't like it when you point those differences out, so that might be why they're getting offended

I mean, the heterosexual transgenders are literally trying to BE us so... probably? But there's also the fact that they just pretty much steal everything they have from other people's ideas. The feminist concept of The Glass Ceiling becomes The Cotton Ceiling, the gay rights concepts of homophobia and heteronormativity becomes transphobia and cisnormativity, AMAB/AFAB is just straight up lifted from intersex folks... Their whole modus operandi is just stealing shit from feminism, gay rights activism, and intersex lingo.

Even “Black trans (women’s) lives matter.” The transing of Malcolm Michaels/Marsha P. Johnson and how the story has been treated wreaks of a (successful) attempt to glom onto BLM. Any other group would have been called out for trying to misappropriate that slogan; meanwhile it’s a rallying cry of white trans-identifying males who have nothing to fear in terms of targeted violence.

What about the brick's feelings? Did anyone consult the brick? Its motivations? What did the brick identify as? Where is the brick now? I want to know the history of the brick!

No I think they are just parasitic and adopt any and all language of any tangentially related "oppressed" group. Gays, women, intersex, disabled, etc... Anything they can use to focus attention.

You are right that a comment like "you don't look trans" should be perceived as a compliment if you take their own stories at face value... But clearly there is some other motivation.. ie give me attention.

There was a NYT article a few months back that was just some transperson bitching that they couldn't go out in public to be "misgendered". (They didn't phrase it that way but it's difficult to describe their level of narcissism). Basically it made the argument that covid is bad for everyone BUT it was especially difficult for the poor transpeople because they had (not joking) no one to look at them when they dressed as the opposite sex

I remember that article. We probably discussed it here. It had a very "if a tree falls in the forest" existential-crisis vibe. But, that's what having certain personality disorders is like—feeling empty unless other people are around to fill you up with validation.

i think the most dangerous way theyre trying to copy gay people is the "you're just so disgusted by us because you secretly want to fuck us and have..."internalized transphobia". See? thats not a thing. Homophobia is an over 100 year old word with over 100 years of academic research as a foundation under it. This is why you cant just say "acephobia" "panphobia" "6900 gender phobia" or "transphobia". Gays are pretty fucking sure they cant have sex with women or vaginas and they've committed suicide or been tormented trying to force themselves to be attracted to women. they cant. So this whole "you're just scared you might like it" bullshit makes absolutely no sense and doesnt translate well.

trans people getting offended by others telling them they don't look trans

There is really no point in trying to avoid setting off someone who is choosing to feel offended because that's their hobby. I say just tell them all the things to cover all the bases so they get to the point quickly of outing themselves as Cluster B.

Just look at how many activists are celebrating the surge in gender dysphoria diagnoses in children because they see it as “trans kids coming out as trans”. Every part of their movement is just imitating gay activism with false equivalences
