I think it is just a couple of individuals rather than a reflection of the entire group.

I believe that there is a massive problem with people not realising that there is an inherent difference between objective sexual orientation and subjective sexual identity. That people can identify as what they want regardless of inherent reality of what they are (political lesbians etc).

Other people here are scapegoating bisexuals for this and how this plays into the hands of the TRAs, but in reality this disconnect can hurt bisexuals just as much as Gays and Lesbians (i.e. gays falsely identifying as bisexuals making bi people look fake and in denial).

I agree. I mean, some of the bi guys on AGB shit me to tears but that's because of their ignorance about what "same-sex attraction" actually means, not because they're bisexual.

Completely agree with your points. Especially this:

I believe that there is a massive problem with people not realising that there is an inherent difference between objective sexual orientation and subjective sexual identity. That people can identify as what they want regardless of inherent reality of what they are (political lesbians etc).

Humans are fickle, often uninformed, and susceptible to social peer pressure and influence. There are some contexts in which there is real immediate benefit for, say, an actually-straight person to identify as LGB... an actually-LG person to identify as bisexual... an actually-bisexual person to identify as LG... etc. Speaking honestly about the realities of these contexts and the people who act this way, may help us as a community be able to navigate those situations. I don't see any use in minimizing them or dismissing them and saying "Those basically never happen," when there's a lot of evidence that they do happen.

Funny story. I once went through the comments of a user who was "in the process" of becoming bisexual. Pretty fervent anti-feminism mgtow. They thought a few years of getting high on weed while viewing ever-escalating porn from transsexuals to cross-dressers to "actual men" would do the trick eventually. So they wouldn't "need" any women.

I mean, there are probably plenty of bi mgtows out there who are the ones getting these poor sods' hopes up about "sexual fluidity" in their own myopic ideological fervency.

The TRA's have found this sub. I dont mean this as a "no one here has a problem with one another!" and im not some paranoid weirdo. I've ranted against lesbians, bisexuals and some gay guys. I'm gay. I messaged the guy that recently posted here. He was pretending to be gay and to stir shit up. He used the same language and emoticons that they use to troll AskGayBros. He's from a subreddit devoted to dehumanizing AskGayBros; it's called "gaybroscirclejerk".

The TRA's know about this forum.

Yea this, they are on gendercritical to now. It's kind of easy to spot them though by their language just like you said.

It's really pathetic. They claim we are obsessed but they are making accounts on a website they dont post on and pretend to be someone else just to harass us. That like a 50 extra levels of obsessiveness dudes.

So, is that what happened to my thread? lol

I wouldn't be surprised if TRAs are trying to use a divide and conquer tactic.

I remember getting plenty of hate and weird manipulation tactics when I would argue against them on Tumblr. They like to say LG people are using me and they're the only ones that really accept bisexuals.

Those exact words weren't used but that's the message/undertone of the comments they make to gender critical bisexuals. Except they have very disgusting attitudes towards bi people and are weirdly entitled towards being with us as well.

gays, lesbians and bisexuals all have problems with each other and if you're not new here, you've heard it all. He couldn't really articulate any one of those problems and his criticisms of bisexuals werent really what gays and lesbians complain about, especially on a forum such as this.

He was very suspicious so i personally messaged him and they REALLY cannot hold back their smirk and sense of satisfcation as if they were doing something significant and it was too late to stop them (he/she was dramatic).

I think he just read the forums now and tries to imitate natural disagreements but does a really bad job at them.

And you're correct. I'm on twitter and follow their twitter accounts. They have talking points suited for every single letter. Their most extensive is GenderCritical Biphobia, then they have GenderCritical Lesbophobia (lesbians should be wary of raidcal feminists because it's filled with bisexuals who hate them ((when in reality, those bisexuals are literally advocating for lesbians)), GenderCritical Homophobia (for guys): "Gay men should be wary. What have the feminists ever done for you (besides being the best and most effective allies for the gay civil rights movement). Notice how they support the lesbians but not you? Theyre planning to screw you over.

It would be effective if all 3 accounts werent linked together and they didnt make it so obvious. It's always a "look at how they use you, dont waste your energy helping them if they hate you" tactic.

The accounts that were trolling were literally made a day before your post, especially the one talking to you. Again, we absolutely have disagreements on here but it wasn't him being rude that gave it away, but his attempts at arguments that seemed so incredibly childish that were more embarrassing for him to even say them than they were hurtful to whomever he was directing them towards.

Transexuality harms everyone and they know that. It brings people together. Bisexuals dont really have a community of their own so they pass through gay and lesbian spaces and the transexuals tried colonizing gay and lesbian spaces to build their transexual nest so that when young bi kids wander into the "bisexual community", all they meet are AGP men helping them understand their bisexuality and redefining it for them. All you hear on bisexual forums every 3 seconds is "Bi means more than 2!" like some satanic mantra that bi kids have to repeat over and over and over again. There are billions of issues that bisexuals can address to empower themselves but it's all squandered on "examining themselves to help their friends", and who are their friends? Not gays, not lesbians but 0.000001% of the "community", which is trans people because theyre the least privileged.

Gays and Lesbians have a long history with transexuals. They know we can't stand them and it's impossible for them to ever integrate with us because their very identities are homophobic. They contributed nothing to the gay community so they have a better chance infiltrating bisexual spaces to use them in their fight with homosexuals. Transexual's number 1 enemy is gays and lesbians. Not because we're so special but they need us to validate them. Just like how they fight women tooth and nail instead of straight men. Theyre interested in colonizing spaces.

I thought there was something funky about the GC Biphobia account. They stalk LGBA activity all the time in some obsessive fashion to document and tweet about any perceived transgressions. They also have the GC Interphobia, GC Panphobia, and GC Ageism accounts. There are many other anti-GC/LGBA AstroTurf accounts on Twitter.

Transexuality harms everyone and they know that. It brings people together. This current brainwashing of bi youth uses revisions of definitions that didn't even exist but half a decade ago. Now most every online dictionary and reference defines bisexuality in the new, incorrect way, and these are being repeated ad nauseam on places like Reddit.

[–]schomee 5 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 0 fun6 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Gay and energy is squandered on fighting off these sasquatches, but all of bisexual energy is completed wasted on destroying themselves by "examining their preferences" to the point where the bi kids have to rock back and forth, back and forth making sure theyre not bigots so they could be potential dates for trans ppl and to be good little soldiers in the fight against gays and lesbians to colonize.

The problem is, everyone has jobs except for these people. So the bi adults dont talk to bi kids. It's AGP men and AAP women that do.

I used to be a pretty active gender critical feminist, who has now given up on them, and even I can't recall much that could be considered biphobia. Feminism has a lot of inherent problems, but the ones causing them are usually snotty upperclass straight women who demand blind obedience from other women.

In feminist circles lesbians are sort of shunted aside and bisexual women are completely ignored. On the other hand, in gay spaces where feminist lesbians dominate, hatred of bisexual women is palpable. Those spaces are few and far between, thank God.

That always cracks me up when they say that. That they're the only ones that "really" accept bisexuals. Then they turn around and openly call bisexuals "chasers" of them. Two-faced doesn't even come close to accurately describing these people.

u/DaddiesCummies (the troll) has just been repeatedly messaging me:

It's as though we've forgotten how to disagree and debate in a reasonable way thanks to the comfortable shield provided by social media and not having to talk face to face.

Anytime I hear "bag of dicks", I can't help but think of this. For the record, I picture a paper shopping bag with baguette-style dicks. Anyway ...

Thank you, Jules. We ALL experience a lot of hatred from people and spaces outside of here, lets try to put aside our differences and unite with our common goal. We can fight out our individual differences with each other privately, or on other subs that allow debate.

This is supposed to be a supportive environment for all LGB, where we can discuss our needs and reasons - as a collective - to be separated from TQ+ . We're not going to get there with in-fighting, that's just static noise which further separates us.

And we have to understand that neither group is always going to agree or disagree with everything that's said, hell, every individual has different views and feelings, and that's perfectly fine as long as everything is kept civil and not finger-pointy.

[–]reluctant_commenter 14 insightful - 1 fun14 insightful - 0 fun15 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Thank you for posting this. I haven't been on as often and I keep missing the beginning of these toxic threads, so they're already well on a roll by the time I check the sub and it feels like I'm just shouting into cacophony when I try to make sense of it, lol.

There has been a lot of anti-bi bile. I think people ought to ask questions and discuss honestly on topics related to LG and B differences, but on the recent threads, a few users seem to have taken that as an invitation for open-season blanket accusations of the demographic as a whole.

[–]PenseePansyBio-Sex or Bust 13 insightful - 1 fun13 insightful - 0 fun14 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Can't thank you enough for saying this, OP. I mean, I try not to let the anti-bi stuff get to me... but I don't always succeed. It bothers me (somewhat) less coming from straight people, cuz I'm not committed to supporting them (there's no need), and don't expect much of 'em anyway. But with gay men and lesbians, well... it's quite a different story 😞

Yeah, I'd really prefer that our disagreements NOT be about whose sexuality is legitimate, who has it worse, or who among us is The EnemyTM. We can debate, sure... but certain things cannot be up for debate. We need some ground rules and guard rails. Otherwise it's gonna be fuckin' Circular Firing Squad time all up in here.

This reminds me of a lot of the anti-lesbian agitation that went on on the old bisexual sub on Reddit. Petty resentments getting brought up again and again and people being rewarded with attention and praise for joining in on the dogpile. I've spent a lot of time in bisexual spaces sticking up for lesbians or trying to present an alternative read on bad behavior that focuses on the individuals involved and not the demographic as a whole.

For all of the disagreements I've had over the years, I sincerely believe lesbians and kind and caring women who only want good things for themselves and others. It's not that complicated. Love you girls 😘

Apparently there was at least one TRA troll determined to be mixed into it. Kinda glad I didn't really partake in the hijinks. They're here to waste our time, sap and impurify all of our precious bodily fluids. We should try to inoculate ourselves against this tendency to prostate before them in the future.
