Didn't want to ruin the punchline right in the post.

For those who don't understand ... "trains" is how users on Reddit sometimes say "trans" now, so that they don't get posts/comments removed by AutoMod or Admin filters.

Oh yeah; I used it in a They Live meme last year.

Thanks so much! I was wrackin' my brain trying to come up with the right search terms for this last night! (I'd seen it before, too, and thought it was a really accurate representation of the sad state of affairs for LGB people.) THIS time, I had the good sense to download it :)

It's the LGBTQIA Pyramid! Thank you, good sir! I couldn't remember if A was in there or not.

If I could revise this, I would also have a ghost of T floating off to the side with a knife in its back looking confused/hurt at a smug-looking T on the top of the pyramid, with T and Q holding bloody knives behind their backs. This would represent the fact that the T of today is not the sympathetic T of yesteryear.

I would also put a bowtie and perhaps a blue toupee on the Q because duh.

If you're curious, here's what it was parodying. The reply with the pic got removed.

Oh that context makes it even better.

THANK YOU SO MUCH! I was getting ready to look through hundreds of archive pages. You saved us!!!

can you search on the old drop the t reddit? I know i've seen it there or here.

[–][deleted] 5 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 0 fun6 insightful - 1 fun -  (6 children)

I remember seeing it a few times on our old sub too. I tried looking through archives flaired as "humor" here: https://www.itsafetish.org/archives/lgbdropthet

I'm not sure what else we might have flaired it as though, or if it even did get flaired prior to archiving. So that leaves either looking through every single archive, or using search terms.

I KNOW the image, I can picture it clearly. I just can't find it yet.

can you scroll through just images?

[–][deleted] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (4 children)

Unfortunately, no. But even if I could, the thumbnails aren't representative of the images that were shared, they're placeholders. So I would still have to click-through each post.

I'll probably resort to scrolling through the hundreds of pages on the archive website directly ... pretty sure they give an image snapshot as long as the image was directly linked, instead of shared as text.

I'm determined to find it now! LOL

i tried it from the other side, I googled transphobic memes, cartoons etc. no luck.

Great! But why did you want it?

The user I mentioned asked for help finding the image, and I remember what she's looking for, and I like to help.

Also, I enjoy puzzles, and it was a puzzle for us both since neither of us could recall exactly where it came from.

YES!

Thank you for finding it, and thank you u/reluctant_commenter for saving links in your sub for it too! Through some clicking, that led to the original and response art!
