A female friend of mine started dating a transbian in mid-2019. When that happened there was a never-ending spiel about how she really was a lesbian because it was a same-gender relationship. Her boyfriend never shut about how he was a lesbian because he liked women. It went as far as the guy having a public meltdown on his brother on Facebook and then cutting off all contact with him. (The poor guy had had the temerity to point out they were literally a straight couple and his brother was, in fact, not a lesbian.)

Fast forward to the present. These two just got engaged. The female friend also just came out as non-binary. After all the posturing about sexuality being solely about gender, guess who’s still proudly calling himself a lesbian?

I know I shouldn’t expect even a modicum of honesty or coherence from the TQ+ crowd. It’s still absolutely maddening to watch this play out in real time and also watch a bunch of woke idiots pretend it’s fine.

Don’t you know? Lesbian is no longer a woman loving a woman but a non man loving a non man. That’s exactly how they are gonna change the definition if you ever ask him why he still calls himself a lesbian 🙄

The moving goal posts are so frustrating. They spent three years making up a bullshit theory to justify this. Instead of sticking with the bullshit theory, they’re just creating a new bullshit theory when it’s more convenient.

What’s even more maddening are all the people who are just acting like this is totally normal and like they aren’t just making it up as they go.

That's sad he cut off contract with his brother. This gender thing really divides friends and family and I really think that is too bad...
