After trying for months, and 3 rounds of submitting it and having it rejected, I finally got a wikipedia page for Nolan Investigates up https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nolan_Investigates They were so infuriating along the way that I almost gave up, but if I gave up they would win so I persevered even when tehy really testing my patience. It's a small thing, but this is my little fight, and I made it happen.

Ahhhh, that's awesome!! Dude congrats on achieving that :) you know, I haven't thought much about how Wikipedia could be a place for spreading awareness of LGB issues like that; I've just marked it off in my mind as "captured" by anti-LGB advocates. But there are more mechanisms to promote discussion there than on private, heavy-handedly-moderated sites like Reddit, right?

I hear you. I have been thinking nearly that exact thought a lot recently. We've got this! Things are changing for the better in so many countries, the US has a long way to go but steps like this help!

It's late but I wanted to say thank you for allowing me back in. I'm happy to see that this place hasn't completely disappeared.

Thought people might appreciate this meme posted on r/SuperStraight that is a little off-topic: https://saidit.net/s/SuperStraight/comments/9dm2/sign_of_the_times/

Posted a couple of longer comments just now, in case anyone wants to read my rambling writing and/or get into a debate, lol. Would be curious to hear others' thoughts on both these topics.

"Why do people have a preference for femininity/masculinity?"

SPOILERS-containing rant about LGB-negative stereotypes in the movie Everything Everywhere All At Once.
