I've given up hope on apps. They're full of males and couples looking for a third. Not to mention people who buy into gender identity, which is an immediate turnoff for me.

But there is not others alternative. Everyone use that. There is no better way to meet people, especially for someone seeking dating into a small dating poll

Some women have had luck going through many many profiles, but for me the amount of effort involved with apps is discouraging. I feel like at this point I'd rather meet women the old fashioned way. (COVID is not helping though.)

Well, come on, scrolling profiles, it is still far less stressful than going around and being rejected millions of times by hetero women. I wpuld understand if you were hetero, but even heteros now prefer apps, but a gay woman, apps are just the easier way

Scrolling profiles can be very depressing. I wouldn’t date someone poly, non-binary, someone who says they are an “empath” or is too into astrology. So that’s basically all the women on apps, lol.

Yeah, it's so depressing. I feel like a crazy person when all I want is a long-term monogamous relationship with a female. Shouldn't be too much to ask for, right?

It isn't. But finding the right person can be difficult even for heteros, let alone for lesbians. It takes patient, in the meantime you can just have fun lol

Thanks and I honestly don't really date for fun. XD

I know, but having some some can distract you from the misery of dating life lol

True, true. :)

We are out there...just hard to find. It took me a couple years to find my wife.

Thankfully in my country isn't so shitty yet lol But even if there are lots of weirdos, you just swipe left, it still easier than real life rejection. I mean, not all are like that. Everyone use apps and there are sane women there too, you just need to search lol I can't see a better way to meeting someone as a lesbian.

If you’re bilingual you might have more luck if your language is largely spoken where you are. A lot of the blurs of the definition of lesbianism comes from English fuckery.

Hey, that's a good point. When I lived in China for a few years, I used an app called Rela. A Swedish friend of mine used a Swedish site. Forgot the name. A Christian app called Believr is releasing soon(they've been saying that forever). Compatible Partners has good reviews. Let me go search for Spanish apps. And see what I find.

Tinder is the most used apps. You can find every type of relations there.

I just downloaded Hinge this weekend and it's been pretty nice, I'm in a larger city now so it has pretty good results. It's also nice because they have prompts which makes it easier to start conversations! I would recommend it :)

I feel like apps largely depend on where you live and how your values match that particular area. For instance - kids are a deal breaker for me, but it's the norm in my city for a woman to get married and have a kid or three by the time she's 22. The women who are child free all do drugs, which is another deal breaker.

I've found more luck in other parts of the U.S./world while living abroad/traveling...
