This list is out of date. NYC, Portland, and San Francisco are hell for actual lesbians eho are not gender-indoctrinated. I can only speak to NYC personally and even the femmest of femmes I know from there still claim a non-binary identity. From others I know on the West Coast, Portland and San Fransisco are in full gender dictatorship mode, but I would like to hear input from others here with personal experience.

To be honest, race and ethnicity will play a role sadly in regards to the best, friendliest city for lesbians are. From the point of me, someone mixed race and ethicity for the U.S. and for Texas, I recommend Dallas, and Houston for lez scenes. I feel like Austin could never really get their lesbian scene to pop off and when they did, it wasn't very diverse.

San Juan, for those in Puerto Rico!!!!!!

Yes absolutely, I am not white so I know my race will definitely play a role.

Back when r/truelesbians existed there was a user by the name of u/mshurricane (im pretty sure thats her) , that would write all about her travels, which I found to be really interesting. I was just curious on a more global scale as a non-American. Thanks for your comment and your helpful advice 💕

Where is sheeeeee? I loved her. Did she come with us and uses a different name? Looks like she hasn’t commented in a while

It depends on what you're looking for and your preference. If you're looking for nothing special then Brewers Ave, and Clear Springs will probably suffice. If you want more...quality, the private clubs are recommended. There you'll fine the doctors, execs, lawyers, entertainers, etc. You'll find the butches/studs with well tailored suits and/or other mens' wear. And you'll fine the femmes in the high class heels, make up, and dresses.

The private parties and get togethers are invite only, but it is easy to meet those in the circle due to many having high followings on Instagram.

If you're looking for down to earth quality then house parties or house get togethers are also another option. There's not a whole lot of focus on career investments, but instead just having a chill time.

There's also sex parties...

Any recommendations for places to go? A friend and I are planning a trip

Not anymore, but you can be openly lesbian anywhere and no one will care.

Church and Wellesley is the gay village. I don’t know what is even open anymore since COVID. Most places are very annoying to attend at the moment. Masks, social distancing etc, it’s not worth a trip right now

Yeah, the timing isn't great unfortunately. We'll definitely check out the village!

I was just reading this about Europe. On page 24 there's a chart about Respondents’ levels of openness about being LGBTI, by group and country (%).

Or for a short answer: Brighton.

nyc is terrible. all butch and even some stems identify as nonbinary, and all the gay places are overtaken by AGPs, fujoshis, fake bisexuals, woke bisexuals, transtrenders, and straight "allies"
