Assuming there would be minimal homophobia or sexism in this fantasy scenario, I would like to travel to the turn of the 20th century. The world was at such an interesting place coming a few decades off the the industrial revolution, the innovations and discoveries being made around the world at the time intrigue me, and I wonder how daily life actually played out for your average joe.

I also wonder how pre-Columbian indigenous societies in the Americas operated. Seeing it with my own eyes would be incredible. There's just so much history that's been lost or erased and I want to know it all!

Definitely 80s. I would love to see neon pink retro aesthetic and boxy cars everywhere around me. Not to mention crazy fashion style and the coolest post-disco tunes

I would travel to a lot of periods, just because I am that curious (I guess I will be perfect companion to Dr.Who?). Not sure if I would stay in any period. Maybe in bright lesbian future? :D

I would go to Paris 1920. I've read at the time they were open minded comparing to the rest of world, they had lesbian circles and such, and some important women figures in lesbian relations. I would try to become an artist and make a living painting naked french women. And then a trip to the 80's, I guess. The music and dresses of the time were so cool.

It seems you would go to Paris 3 times :). You really really want to paint naked women :)

Thought so, but i think it showed beautifully your passion for Paris in the 20s and the female body lol.

Yeah. Paris in the 20's, the golden age after the great war, women starting to wear pants, french hats, the trendy haircut that was like straight and long to the shoulders, art, naked female bodies. Sound all so hot and classy lol

It was a hot place. All the trendy writers were there! Plus like you said, the lesbian bars... There was a lot of drama though as well.

Yeah it was the most modern open minded place in the world. Paris is indeed beautiful, I definitely want to go in the future.

There are a lot of historical periods in human history that I would like to witness. Ancient Egypt for instance. I would have loved to experience the Inca civilization. Palestine in the late 19th century or just witnessing the uncolonized North America, Victorian era England would have been interesting as well. Even times like the stone age (I mean, that's kind of vague since it spans over more than 3 million years) are interesting... but I think I'd prefer sometime around when we learned to smelt ore or other periods where there were significant progress being made.

Hmm... if I could time travel, I could make myself into a deity to be worshipped throughout the ages.

I would travel back to when birds were just beginning to be visibly recognizable as the birds we have today, but not quite there yet. I want to see what they looked like just before.

I'd do a trip through antiquity, from the beginning of settling down and the agricultural revolution up to the fall of Rome. Probably wind up spending most of my time in Alexandria, just strolling through the city and checking out the museum and library! It would be so cool to see what life was like for the average person back in those days!

I would love to see the library and meet Hypatia of Alexandria. I wonder if the Doctor tried to save the library in an episode. Imagine if he did, perhaps we would have had the industrial revolution sooner, but who knows?

Either the 1970's to experience the feminist second wave where there were actual intellectual debates and where female liberation wasn't a dirty word. Or Lesbos in 7th century BC to meet Sappho and become a student at her school :)
