Hey! I'm not sure if posting this at the beginning of the week or at the end of the week is better, but I wanted to start things off. I'm just going to do a weekly chat for now until more people say they want to do a movie/book thing again. So let me know if you're interested!

How'd your week go? Do you have any plans for the weekend? Watch anything interesting recently? What are you reading? What projects are you working on?

I wish I could say I have big plans for the weekend, but I'll probably stay in. With a minor injury (I'm fine) and the world being the way it is right now, it seems better to rest up instead. I will most likely play a video game and maybe watch Black Widow.

Beyond that I've been baking lately and reading through Dykes To Watch Out For.

Weeeeelll, my show was almost picked up but the network said it was the wrong genre. I was sad when that meeting took place on Monday; however, I was given the opportunity to pitch to more networks on Wednesday that I've been on cloud 9 the rest of this week! The goal is for the show to be sold within six months or less.

The concerts I've planned to go to have all been canceled until 2022. Probably for the best since I'm not vaccinated yet. The libraries are still closed where I am so I too want to join a book club, but sigh. The book club if done ought to be virtual, over Kosmi, Zoom, or Microsoft Teams. Kosmi and Microsoft Teams are more private than Zoom.

Tonight I'll be playing Kingdom Hearts. It's a tough game so I'm gonna try and level up so I can beat Riku/Ansem.

A friend of mine wants me to watch a Korean movie called WITCH. Since he's so supportive of me and is my childhood friend, I shall.

Made enchiladas this week and don't know what I'll eat tonight.

That's great news about your show! I hope it gets sold soon!

A virtual book club would be great, but yeah it would need to be set up just right to prevent people from crashing in.

I had been thinking about going to Provincetown Girl Splash, but didn't really want to deal with the hassle of flying and airfare right now. I also sort of got the vibe that it's mostly older lesbians, could be wrong though. Not that I have a problem with older lesbians, just that the last time I went to a lesbian meetup I felt sort of awkward being the only woman in her 20s with all these 40s+ women.

I went kayaking last weekend and it was pretty fun, might do it again this weekend if weather cooperates.

I recently have watching some pretty interesting stuff on Youtube. Some True Crime but mostly videos covering missing persons cases. They're extremely interesting but they've been making me kind of paranoid and anxious so I might have to take a break. The disappearance of Johnathan Lee Hamilton was especially bizarre and chilling. The story was so convoluted, weird, and creepy that it almost seemed like the plot of some thriller/horror movie and not real life. I'll definitely be adding Basdropt, Texas to my list of cities to NEVER visit.

Bastrop ain't so bad but I used to live around after moving from Austin so I suppose I'm bias. I also haven't ever heard of that case so I'll take a gander at it.

And thanks a lot, OP, for the best wishes. As for the virtual book club, the best way to make safe and private is pretty much vet everyone prior to entry. Maybe reserve 25 spots so that way the vetting doesn't come a hassle. They could join either voice or video chat.

Edit: Looked it up. He disappeared apparently an year before I moved back more central.
