I occasionally use vim then for a while.
Works for just "so long". When I start to working with multiple source files at the same time again, vim always feels more clunky to me.
Then I switch my whole keyboard button-setup (German, Dvorak, Neo and Neo2) from time to time, which is muscular relearning because I have to work with quite different setups and configs. Slows me down for a while, but also has gotten better and better over time.
So this also "helps" only so long.
Then I tried switching Ctrl for CapsLock. Which feels completely clunky.
Since the pain is quite horrible right now, I'm using vim mostly. And some expendable cheap Logitech Bluetooth keyboard with Dvorak button stickers on it, fyi.
So if you have any suggestions regarding your mitigation of this pinky-pain, I'd be really curious and happy if you share your input on this.
