MGTOW may be considered a proto-practical philosophy - it has its roots in practical philosophy, like stoicism, epicureanism, Kant’s practical reason, or existentialism, but it cannot yet be considered a practical philosophy as it lacks structure and a coherent system of principles (or rather, there is a loose gathering of principles which has not been explicitly structured).
Here, we have organised the principles into a structure, forming the basis of MGTOW as a full-fledged Philosophy.
What is MGTOW? A man is said to be a MGTOW if he follows, in whole, or in a large part of, MGTOW Philosophy.
Herein are proposed The Base Principles of MGTOW Philosophy
1- The Philosophy of MGTOW is specifically directed to men and for men aiming to:
2- Acknowledging oneself as man: MGTOWs should to seek knowledge about themselves and the society in which they live in, in order to come to terms with their individual male nature, understanding the causes and contexts that condition their individual self-perception as well as alienate themselves from their true nature;
3- Improving men’s inter-personal relationships: MGTOWs should seek to understand interpersonal relationship dynamics, especially those between men and women, in order to apply prudent and rational judgement in their inter-personal (be them social, professional, familiar and/or affective) relationships, as to not let those relationships alienate themselves from their true nature;
4- Pursuing self-fulfilment through internal validation: MGTOWs should discard external validation in favour of internal validation, being it the only path to self-fulfilment, since current societies will uphold women’s values, which are, as such, inadequate to men.
5- A MGTOW knows his true nature as a man, the social context in which he lives in, how to manage his inter-personal relationships, and validates himself exclusively to himself, and thus is soundly able to determine his own way for his own live, while he shares information, personal experiences, expressed feelings, as well as anecdotes regarding social, professional, and inter-personal relationships, so that the collective wisdom of the masses may assist other men in finding their path to inner peace and happiness.
