Wow❗ That was every bit as amazing as I remember from watching it as a child. Great stop-motion from master animator Ray Harryhausen. A dragon, a Cyclops and an incredible swordfighting scene with a skeleton up a spiral staircase that is simply unforgettable.
Equally eye-catching was a marvelous shrinking, to tiny size, Princess - a decade before Land of the Giants was aired.
I love the fact the Princess kept her promise, in spite of all the risks it entailed. This was a film with good morals and values, like honesty, trust, loyalty and honour. These are wholly absent from the movies of today.
This is easily the best (well, my favourite!) episode of Svengoolie that I have seen thus far.
