The point (IMO) isn't really about traffic-stats, it doesn't matter what Reddit thinks. Instead, it's about users, awareness, and not merely sitting there taking abuse from Reddit Admins & Moderators.

Please help spread awareness. This new thread is the one that will show up on people's feeds. Because of how Reddit works, that older stickied thread wouldn't show up on people's feed even if it got 6-billion votes, and requires people going directly to that subreddit.

I have been using reddit for a long time and while don't think spying is the issue, there is a problem with the modern reddit.

In it's first few popular years, it was completely different. News that MSM would sometimes latch on to would break on reddit first. The diversity of opinions and point of view was incomparable to now. Comments being removed was a relatively rare event. Hence, it stands to reason that there has been a push by the powers that be to use reddit to help control the masses.

Asking questions should be applauded, not mocked. You are the one who needs to grow up imo.

That said, I did get the impression that you don't appreciate what reddit has become. It absolutely is being used by powerful interest groups to sway opinions and herd sheeple. In fact, there isn't a social media site with a comparable user base that isn't being used likewise. If saidit got big enough, it would be the same story here too. Do you disagree?

TBH it's given me a few ideas on how to get back on SaidIt more often again. There are a few subs I really like that are missing, so I might make my own alternatives them, perhaps combining some of them to stay under the maximum subs moderated limit.

    They have a monthly transparency report. You'll want to examine several months of that report to get a good idea of how bad it is. It's controlled in the sense that mods have no choice but to control it.

    That's what I'm doing today. My only exception is one message I got in my inbox this morning, but other than that, no Reddit. I have removed RedReader from the app group on my home screen, so reflexively clicking there just opens the SaidIt app instead.
