This is the kind of stuff that I'm glad we have saidit to document. Because even if you posted about this on another subreddit, they might still delete it. The whole of reddit is very compromised, and a lot of the moderators of big subs work together to promote or censor certain topics.

Most people don't even realize this is happening.

They're being bribed by Commiezilla.

Didn't know Mozilla was going political.

I found a website talking about it a bit here: Mozilla Threatens to Go Beyond Deplatforming in Creepy Statement.

Here's Mozilla's blog about the topic: We need more than deplatforming.

I'm done with Mozilla, uninstalling.

I recommend using the Tor browser for privacy or using the DuckDuckGo browser on mobile paired with Orbot.

I'm still surprised anyone still uses reddit.

Frogs in the pot. They have no idea the water's boiling. I talked to one of the few people I know who still uses it a few months ago and they were genuinely convinced their sub had a healthy mix of conservatives and moderates along with the leftists. The sub we were talking about literally has no conservative or moderate voices in it. Every thread is a circle-jerk of leftist authoritarianism and delusions that could only come from living in a fully insulated bubble.

Reddit uses a number of tricks to steer your sub towards wherever they want to. They use all kinds of shills, "reports" with all kinds of claims, the AHS crew, censors working behind the curtain so they won't get easily spotted and so on.

I'm still using FF 62... Reddit is a fucking cancer and the source of the poisoning.

Reddit isn't the source of the poisoning, it's the result of it.

I'm not well informed about that issue. What's wrong with firefox? (Aside from the usual 80% of it's revenue come from google to own the search engine) Is there deeper issues with it?

They openly advocated censorship and deplatforming, basically asking for ideological control of the internet.

There have been a few posts discussing the issue, like this one: https://saidit.net/s/censorship/comments/75g9/mozilla_no_longer_supports_a_free_internet/
