The premise of the "consent of the governed" is finally beginning to break down. As more people see that the majority does not condone, encourage, or accept this kind of crap, we may finally be able to reverse the tide. For decades the vocal minority has created an environment where ever-increasing social toxicity has been not only tolerated but promoted by our most powerful institutions. But those institutions can only exist as long as people believe the institutions "represent them". The MSM and the tech fascists are crossing every line imaginable to destroy that belief. They can do this only so long before the middle-of-the-road finally decides silence is no longer an option.

That's the optimistic case. But until I see the BLM signs up in my neighborhood come down (i.e. when people recognize that they have been conned into believing that "violence is peace"), I still remain skeptical. I don't understand how people can square that circle, but they seem incapable of seeing that the "victims" they use as their idols have usually been engaged in extreme violence for years prior to meeting the end they were headed toward all along.

This isn't about race. Reasonable people of all races (e.g. Candace Owens, Thomas Sowell, Clarence Thomas) recognize that these groups are dangerous. BLM isn't holding up "black lives"; it is holding up as its heroes violent criminals. Meanwhile predominantly black neighborhoods find all the reasonable black business owners bankrupted when the riots destroy the wealth they honestly attempted to create.

Back to the current case, however. Maybe - just maybe - a public figure promoting violent pedophilia may create a counter-reaction. Once that reaction takes hold, we can only pray it continues, and people can begin to recognize all the many insane groups who have become "PR bait", and clean them out.

It's not a matter of violence. We need to create the environment where people become ashamed to support these groups. Let them die a peaceful and obscure death.

We can dream...

i have been a user on reddit for almost eight or ten years, and recently i found that all of my posts are shadowbanned, even posts that i make on subs that i am the only moderator of..

fk reddit in reddit's asshole.

[–]madcow-5 5 insightful - 2 fun5 insightful - 1 fun6 insightful - 2 fun -  (3 children)

I used it for going on 13 years. They banned all of my accounts last summer during their massive ban wave. Even got hit on accounts I never posted from. I've used VPNs, changed ISPs, etc. The only thing that's worked so far is just having a totally new device on a different ISP.

i simply loathe reddit now.. it had a large block of investment capital from some chinese company a few years ago, and basically the chinese had turned one of our major social media outlets into a clusterfuck.

btw, if you dont know about TOR ( https://www.torproject.org/ ), it takes the whole vpn issue to a different level.. when you use the tor browser, your browser goes thru something like three different servers before accessing whatever page you requested, and then it accesses whatever page you requested.. i think it is three intermediate servers that it goes thru.. it is like using three vpn's.

note: some websites are able to recognize that you are using tor and they block you, so fuck them, an example is http://mql5.com

Have you found it works for reddit? Because a VPN alone just results in automatic shadow bans.

I've heard of TOR way back in the day, never really figured out how to use it.

i am really glad that you asked this... as i mentioned in one of my posts today about TOR, several websites will block tor from accessing their website, primarily because they want to track you... for example, http://mql5.com blocks tor.

but, at least for now, the primary domain of http://reddit.com does block tor, but if you use the http://old.reddit.com you will find that it is not blocked... and if you want to be anonymous on reddit, maybe dont use a gmail address, because reddit and google are assbuddies, for sure... maybe try http://protonmail.com

but definitely saidit.net does work using tor, i am using it now.. sometimes their filtering software, is it cloudflare does block, but there is an icon at the top right of tor that looks like a broom that is sweeping, click that and you can in many cases obtain a new circuit thru tor which will give to you a fresh ip address.

if i can be of further assistance, just ask..

good luck.

You don't hire politicians as admins; there's a clear conflict of interest when you would personally benefit from manipulating the narrative — which is exactly what they've been doing.

Although I wouldn't manipulate the narrative here on SaidIt, and there are checks against me doing so, I will resign as admin when I run for office in 2024 out of principle.

I mean... Like 5% of reddit's owned by a Chinese tech company. As I understand, there's no such thing as a private Chinese tech company.

[–][deleted] 4 insightful - 2 fun4 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 2 fun -  (11 children)

Exactly! Tencent paid them $150M in 2019 and they banned r/the_donald little over a year later. Seems suspicious to me.....

[–][deleted] 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

I am more concerned with Reddit's approaches since 2019 to get much more information from me, with extra login requirements, tracking &c. I suspect this is why the CCP is so interested in Reddit. They got along fine with the Trump crime family, even when there were various gestures against China by Trump over the years. There was never an economic impact on China (eg. they bought soybeens from Russia after Trump cut off the supply, which was something he did for Russia). China and Russia want Reddit's data, and to have an influence on Reddit. I doubt China worried about /r/The_Donald.

[–][deleted] 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

Banning r/the_donald was not an attack against Trump himself, but an attack against the American People! It was an offensive against free speech; it was a clear message that they have the power to censor those who do not obey, and are more than willing to do so.

Although Trump was the most anti-CCP President we've ever had, his ties with the illegitimate government in Beijing are quite troublesome — and could potentially explain why he's been all bark and no bite. He couldn't even ban a spyware app — he couldn't even facilitate its willing Americanization!

It's most certainly the case that Beijing seeks to seize control of the media in order to spy on American citizens and infect the public discourse with the red plague. It's no secret that Reddit, TikTok, Discord, RiotGames, and many other dominions of Beijing don't respect their users's privacy and collect excessive amounts of information.

He said that you said that Suzy said that she didn't make out with Johnny at Ted's party but if you want to come to the sleepover anyway we're going to be putting whipped cream in each other's training bras.

I dunno, Bob and I agree on a lot of stuff.

[–]slushpilot 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Well, you especially don't hire people with a history of creating blacklists to serve as admins... like they couldn't predict this would happen on the first day.

[–]bobbobbybob 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

you are my enemy and an enemy of saidit

now I wonder which mad tranny admin on saidit said that?

[–]bobbobbybob 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

you shouldn't hire trannies as admins.

Although I wouldn't manipulate the narrative here on SaidI

he lies. The problem is that self deception is the core of the tranny self-identity, and after that gross falsehood, the little lies come easy and frequent. We all remember s/gov

I saved all your shit on here, tam, waiting for the apology that never came. Rest assured, if you run for office, I'm going to be going to the press.
