The deal raises questions as to how the star duo will fit together. Dončić ranks 2nd in the NBA in usage rate and has been the focal point of the Mavs offense. Irving is also used to having the ball in his hands, so will be interesting to see how he adjusts playing alongside ball-dominant Dončić.

The Mavs got Kyrie? I agree that seems like not the best fit. Reminds me of the unsuccessful pairings of Chris Paul/Harden and Westbrook/Harden, in that their value is as primary ball handlers, which they can't do at the same time. At least Kyrie is an excellent spot up shooter used to playing off-ball some with Lebron
