When stories were coming out of married couples being kept apart, parents being forced to die without their children by their side, grandparents kept from their grandchildren for months on end as the children were told they might kill them if they saw them

They're still doing that.

My grandfather is locked down in a nursing home, says he'd rather die. I don't know why that isn't an option for seniors. Imagine being locked away your own family.

The ex-BIL that died from covid, there's a photo of him on his death bed surrounded by nurses. Several nurses gowned up so he wasn't alone when he died. Why the fuck can't the family do that? They said PPP was too precious but fuck that, if a bunch of nurses can use it to be with a patient why can't the patients family?
