It used to be that if a parent started dressing a child in the clothes of the opposite gender, calling them by a different name and telling them they were a different sex that was taken as a sure sign abuse was happening, usually sexual, because disrupting a child's identity is a way to keep power over them.

Now parents get put in prison for not going along when their partner does that.

This story is a lie and is incredibly annoying. This had NOTHING to do with the fact that the child was "trans". You only delegitmize yourselves when you post this useless garbage. The judge clearly stated: Do NOT post anything about this trial online. That is criminal. The trial is not over. Americans have these types of laws as well. The father kept posting shit online, over and over and over again.

This was more of a "contempt of court" issue no different than running around naked in court. You can go to jail for that as well. So this story is a lie.
