When the religious culture encourages women to cover up totally it would make sense that trans women would blend in easier and not attract so much attention.

I don't think Islam is very pro-transgender but it's more anti-gay so they're "cool" with gay men chopping their penis off and sequestering themselves the same way that women are supposed to sequester themselves.

Only 3% of the population of Indonesia are members of the LBGT community and I'll wager the T's are the smallest group. If you believe climate change is the big boogeyman, why would you only call out a tiny fraction of the country with regard to impacts. If Indonesia sinks into the sea, will it be save the women, children, and trannies first?

No. The people of Sulawesi recognize 5 genders. They are men, women, trans men, trans women and trans prophets. Considering the last group is very rare, about half of them are actually trans.

That's great, but that doesn't address the question; if climate change is so important to address, why single out one demographic (I lump all of these people into one demographic - other).

You know what I find weird, is how just about any man you talk to will say "Trans women? Fucking disgusting," and yet trans women across the world seem to be in demand as sex workers.
