A cold can chilled respite for any buff sinking in satin beanbaggies cwtching up to the euphonious instrumental ambient (see 2.) tunes. This is very much for the snazzy folk that raises a shot to the roll half of rock and roll.

- There are many variations of post a toastie rock. There's melancholic ambient rock that seems to last a lifetime of eating Twix under a mangrove or waking up in a resus ward. There's essentially noise rock with baying and broiling and all-around boiling. There's shoegaze, and alt-rock trying to disguise itself as post-rock in dark glasses. Often instrumental but there are vocals, though they accompany the music rather than being the focal point. Post-rock is more of a moody soundscape. An aural equivalent of an epyllion poem.
