AMD has not mentioned Threadripper. Nor have they mentioned AM5 CPUs with more than 16 cores.

Prediction: It will soon be announced that Threadripper CPUs will socket into AM5 Motherboards. This is what's causing their current awkward silence on parts with greater than 16 cores.

Duel socket mobo, were the cpus are inserted into the same rail, utilizing a single Threadripper cooler.
