Discussion about the prohibition of intoxicating liquors. We welcome everyone from both sides of the debate!

Discussion about Prohibition Parties is allowed, because their primary political position is Prohibition.

Discussion about the prohibition of drugs (aka the War on Drugs) is also allowed, since it's a similar topic. The main focus of this sub remains on alcohol, however.

This sub is biased towards prohibition in the US, but it can also include prohibition in other countries.

Prohibition was initially a progressive policy, but has been adopted by Conservatives over time, therefore, it's unfair to label it as solely one or the other.

Mexico wants America to decriminalize all drugs. This is an article from when Mexico first tried to legalize drugs but heavy pressure from American Pharma had something to say about it.
