This is a sub for practicing using the pyramid of debate. The aim is to get as high on the pyramid as you/we can. See also sub introduction post.
Format:
Top-level posts consist of a topic for discussion. Topics can be serious or silly. We should be trying to get at the truth of the topic in the comment discussion. Top-level posts should only introduce a topic, but should not state any position. All post titles should include a [Pyramid Practice] prefix for clarity when seen from outside this sub.
Comments should attempt to get at the truth of the topic, or truths about the topic, and attempt to get as high on the pyramid of debate as possible while doing so.
Moderation:
- Moderators will use the moderation tools available to them completely at their discretion to keep the sub environment well-maintained to facilitate its intended use.
- All moderator actions regarding individual accounts should be recorded in the sub's Accounts Moderation Record.
