GTA Online is the most toxic game you will probably ever find. You can't go five seconds in a public lobby without getting immediately attacked by a tryhard looking to boost their stupid KTD ratio, or just to be a dick. One time, I was just wanting to play a causal session of GTA Online and immediately I am attacked by an Oppressor Mk2 fuckhead and lost thousands of dollars because I apparently had a bounty set on me. Fucker attacked me three other times for no reason at all. I couldn't even go 5 minutes into a public lobby without getting attacked by one of those Depressor douchebags. I have ran into multiple of them before and they are just complete dicks. If you try to defend yourself by messaging them specifically telling them to "leave you alone", you will get mocked by them with the usual responses like "cope", "go into passive", or some other shit like that. And Rockstar don't wanna fucking fix this BS because they're too busy rolling in the dough from all of the money they've gotten from their Shark card microtrransactions. Tryhards are the reason why I steer CLEAR off of GTA Online. GTA Online is too toxic with tryhards and these tryhards make the game unenjoyable for honest people who just wanna play casually.
