I hate how I couldn't help where I was born, nor could I help where my ancestors decided to settle. Was flyover possibly once a good place to live? Possibly. I don't have the money or means to move out, so I'm trying to find a job. I've been actively looking for several months, and all of the jobs I'm either overqualified for or underqualified for. I always end up applying to them all anyways, but it makes me so mad when there's people who have no education or qualifications (or proper ones for that matter) end up getting paid $20-25/hr, and then wonder why there's people who don't work in their 20's. It's not like I'm just sitting around doing nothing. I've been on company websites and job boards websites, and I'm convinced they're all either job postings they forgot to remove, or they're ghost job postings. I only could afford an associate's atm, and even then, I feel like I wasted all that time getting one. If I lived where an IRL friend of mine moved to, then MAYBE I could've landed a job. But living here, there's hardly anything half of the time, and they put a decade of experience on fricken entry level jobs.
