You guys need to ORGANIZE yourselves, including partitioning off subs where you can have your own private regions where you can be the best curmudgeons that you can be, and so the others in your group who want more may have it (you are a community after all, and it is about more than just you) - and of course be able to deal with outsiders there.

    Curious quote. I read that in college or university. Loved the movie. A few years later I lived in Manhattan for half a decade. Odd that reading that now, I can finally actually visualize it - except that there isn't a station in NYC's Washington Square. But just as "Union Square" is common in so many North American cities, I suspect many also have their own "Washington Square".
