Even if you were to succeed, you would see that this world is a corpse. You could not think of the life of a chinese slave, even if you went 2-3 years without thinking about it, without realizing that your success is fake. Not a result of anything related to yourself, but just the circumstances of the world, which, in reality, made it so that you have nothing. And this would be felt on a level much deeper than you could imagine now. No wonder that the winners of the system become utterly nihilistic and snap completely into a mind full of delusion, a person empty of anything worthwhile.

No clue how people delude themselves into buddhism or christianity when there are successful supernatural experiments proving things way beyond the scope of what those religions preach.

You couldn't even imagine how evil a god needs to be to allow human atrocities.
