xxx: My brother has been married three times. The first marriage fell apart literally a couple of years later. After 17 years, his first wife calls him and demands that he give consent to the child's departure (a year remained until the age of maturity) abroad. The fact that he (the brother) has nothing to do with her son at all is not taken into account. She says - sign it, otherwise I’ll file a lawsuit, and go ahead to prove that this is not your son. So what if the son was born a year later as they parted.
UPD: There was an official divorce, everything was as it should be.
He told her to fuck off, culturally. A month later - a notice to the court in the mailbox. Everything was resolved as quickly as possible: a DNA examination, with a mandatory claim for reimbursement of legal costs and the cost of the examination. The verdict was obvious: the son was not his, goodbye.
And I still do not understand what is going on in the minds of these women, who are starting an absolutely losing war from the beginning, without a single chance of winning? Hope for a chance?
UPD: It turns out that the brother consulted with a lawyer, and he advised not to sign anything, because this consent (they say, I am a father, and I agree that the child left) could serve as a proof that he recognizes himself as a father, with the subsequent request of child support for all these 17 years and other consequences.
