  • What DDoS protection is there?
  • How many servers?
  • What are the costs?

CloudFlare and local rate limiting, etc.

How many servers?

One main server, some utility servers

What are the costs?

The EU isn’t that bad for small websites. It’s only when you get big that they start to care.

Hopefully Saidit is headed that way. EU is a poor choice of hosting. No freedom of speech there.

Some people overlook Switzerland (not in the EU but people mistake it) as not being a good place to host.

EU isn't a single entity, really depends on the country

Nonsense, 4 out of top 10 countries according to world press freedom index are EU countries.

Just because they don't kill journalists doesn't mean they value freedom of speech.

Remember Charlie Hebdo? They brought their Islamic terror attack on themselves, was the general feeling.

I don't follow. Are you saying they deserved it or are you saying that the general opinion was that?
