Reddit changed to that weird format so I stopped visiting. Putting old before everything is annoying

Same. The "old" version is the original version that, for me, made it feel like it was part of web 1.0. The new version just feels like web 2.0 and one of the last things of the heydey is fading

I change the user agent to IE 10, and for some reason reddit will revert to the old design, which is what I want of course. Even then, I don't browse Reddit like I use to.

This place is a breath of fresh air. Can't predict the future so I'm just taking it all in whilst I still can.

The voting system is a 1000% improvement, as is the debate pyramid model. I find it so much better than Reddit, especially Now Reddit, which is mostly a dumpster of commercial garbage.

The problem is the lack of normie content, like cat videos and landscape photos. Reddit gets the middle of the road while saidit gets the fringes. It's a problem all alternative websites have. I don't know how to get over it.

    I'm not a big fan of the socialist bullshit involving users filing complaints non-stop against mods when they have their fee-fees hurt for being muted for spam. The admins need to rethink their open door policy on letting the average dimwit set site policy on moderation. Otherwise just take mod controls away and let the place devolve into a tardapalooza. This place isn't exactly filled with geniuses either and is about 2 steps away from becoming as bad or worse than reddit if they let the inmates run the asylum. There's too many users and their alts fishing for internet points right now

              'Soylent' is a reference to 'Soylent Green' which is a book describing a dystopian future where the world is over populated but everyone eats a substance called 'soylent green'. Turns out soylent green is made from the dead bodies of people.

              There is a food substitute called 'soylent' which is named after Soylent Green. Dr-Cheeser is making reference to this drink.
