I see you joined just a week after the subreddit was made which makes me believe you're part of Ice Poseidons group of people who have been actively trying to get us shut down since the reddit days. If this post was made by someone who has been a part of Saidit for a lot longer, then it might be more believable.

By the way, can you relay back to Ice and tell him to stop giving DDOS orders against Saidit and my site.

IP2 is a community based around IRL live streaming and not "Ice Poseidon". You seem to have cherry picked the specific screenshots to support your agenda and left out critical parts of the context to them, you're motive is clear you are one of the few Ice Poseidon fan boys remaining and are attempting to discredit IP2 and have them silenced. IP2 is a community that is vocal about the misdoings of Ice Poseidon (of which the list is extremely long) in an attempt to warn others.

This post looks like it was written by well known Shill for Ice Poseidon who is known by the name "FrodoBallBaggins" and is likely a member of Ice Poseidon's inner circle of Yes-Men who carry out the very activities they are trying to attribute to IP2 in this post. The humour based around IP2 is dark and a lot of the posts made are not peoples actual beliefs and views, they are said in the spirit of humor and satire and could easily be taken out of context by someone who is not familiar with the community.

Most of us also believe by being a live streamer you are making yourself a public figure, which opens you up to scrutiny from the public. Just like any journalist or activist IP2 and its members are free to make whatever criticism/judgement they want and contact whoever they want about it.

IP2 absolutely does not support any illegal actions and does everything possible to avoid such discussions or posts taking place, this should be quite clear to the Administrators who monitor the posts anyway.

IP2 is muted from s/all and 99% of IP2 users do not stray from their sub. Why does it matter if they exist?

I came here as part of IP2, if it weren't for IP2 I wouldn't have had many of the great discussions I've had on the rest of SaidIt. Those from IP2 who venture outward don't behave the same way on the rest of SaidIt. IP2 and the streaming community as a whole has it's own culture. You also have to understand that IP2 isn't too different from farmers watching "lolcows" (such as Onision for example) - they usually never tip the cow (or streamer in this case), and the streamers they're watching are degenerates. They're literally all degenerates. The people on IP2 are watching them choose to ruin their lives by doing crazy and stupid shit on streams.

They don't promote hate. They watch people doing stupid shit. And as a community, they have a culture of their own - if users in the community are being stupid, they get shut down. I'm not saying they aren't crude or immature, but for the most part, they keep to themselves and just watch streamers lol. They're not a virtual-army that fucks with people for no reason. Even IP2 is wholesome at times.

Well by poking the bear like this, you're kind of putting yourself in the crosshairs, no? If you don't like their content/style, there is a handy "mute sub" button, which hides it from your "all" or "new".

Other things you can do is refrain from engaging with their comments on other subs, report them if they really don't adhere to the PoD, or simply use your innate power to not need others to be a certain way and move along, modeling respectful relating in your own way.

Magnora7 and d3rr do not turn a blind eye, they are exceedingly generous in their desire to keep this site as open as possible. People are given quite a lot of chances and suggestions before they are banned, as it should be, imo. No matter what they do, they get criticized--yet they are doing a stellar job balancing freedom of expression with the limitations of international law and the site's stated guidelines.

As an IP2 user I really appreciate the saidit platform. This platform allows users to not have to bow down to the censorship other platforms demand and give communities a place to speak freely and truthfully even if the truth makes someone mad. OP clearly stats in his "conclusion" that he doesn't want IP2 removed but he wants strict censorship the thought of that is disgusting. The person that OP is trying to protect has regular Ddos attack saidit many time in attempts to silence the truth.

Cherry picker with a false narrative. What is your agenda here? Most IP2 users like to watch livestreams and meme. The fact you bring up "hate speech" makes me think you're no different than all the reddit staff trying to crush free speech.

Ice Poseidon is a public figure that used his power and platform to abuse, harass smaller weaker people. He allowed witchhunts and deplatforming campaigns on his subreddit/discord for years. He joked about getting people banned that went against him. He had an extremely corrupt manager that would try to eliminate his competition. He's a known criminal that's committed many crimes on his streams without repercussion.

Public figures as such do not have the same protections from things like "harassment." A lot of what Ice Poseidon and his shills call harassment is just criticism, accountability, and a taste of his own medicine for his terrible actions. He tried to crush all criticism against him and still tries to this day. What he's getting is a whole lot of karma.

The fact of the matter is, Paul Denino (ice Poseidon) realized that there's no money involved in being the creator of an online bumfights 2.0 extended universe. So now his internet janitors are being sicced on any community that harbors any sort of criticism against his 'content'. He has a history of exploiting mentally ill, and homeless people for the sake of 'content'. He has a history of using racism, as recently as yesterday he has used his racist act for 'content'. IP2 is literally just casting a light on what Paul Denino has done without remorse and without consequence for years and years. All of this is categorically true. The sad thing is that you've chosen such to become a martyr for such a despicable low life person really goes to show how invalid you are. Paul Denino is Paul Denino's worst enemy. End of story. IP2 merely casts a light on what Paul Denino decides to put out. There is no subjectivity here. I do agree that some people may take their hatred of him too far, but I personally believe any discussion of him should be removed because he isn't relevant to the subreddit anymore. His name is his only legacy.

It might also be worth describing from their point of view why they view Ice Poseidon as a problem, if only for fairness and context.

The PNGs are great, though far too wide (consider vertical screens and aim for square). Would be better with the permalink too, in order to see the wider context.

Clearly this is "shit disturbing" drama, but IMO needs to happen. I for one was not aware of this, and so much more I assume, on SaidIt.

As a Jew I was into the Jew jokes so I would browse IP2 but it eventually all got a little intense with the deplatforming and tattle tailing on people. I don’t like that they’re on this site but it seems a bit much to say, “we’re gonna deplatform you for deplatforming people.” That’s those other platforms failures, not Saidit’s. Who knows, I might change my mind and go back there some time to browse for shits and giggles but there are plenty of other users who negatively impact my experience of Saidit a lot more since I don’t go there any longer.

So I am someone who discovered IRL streaming and these communities about 6 months ago. I watch all the streamers at different times, including Ice. I want to be upfront with my biases in the sense that I don't think ice is evil, racist, sociopathic, etc like many of the people on IP2 like to say he is. I am not active on saidit, I only lurk, so I realize that my opinion doesn't count for much. Take it for what it is. I just wanted to add my 2c because I have been closely following everything as an outside observer for a bit now and I think that it is important to echo HorrorShow's sentiments (biased as they appear to be) that IP2 do seem to go against most everything that this site stands for. Not the memes and criticism, which is also present, and great. But the directed effort to manipulate, doxx, harass, and deplatform streamers. It is very obvious to anyone who follows the community for more than a few weeks that the spirit of the IP2 community is that of individuals who feel that streamers are monkeys who should dance to their tune. "Content" is drama, novel situations, whatever is interesting to the people from IP2 in chat who are shouting and donating for what they want to see. As soon as the streamer pushes back and asserts that they are autonomous and in control, the IP2 users lash out. Humans make mistakes, and IP2 ardently catalogue every mistake the streamers make so that they can use them against them when the need presents itself. Ice Poseidon receives the most targeted harassment because he was essentially their friend/primary dancing monkey who "broke up" with them, and they did not take the breakup well. They feel as though they "made" him, and that he should not be allowed to exist outside of their influence. It is not uncommon to see members/moderators of IP2 posting things akin to "he will never escape us" whenever he is brought up on reddit or in other communities. Doxx is allowed to sit up for long periods of time. Members of the community constantly encourage harassment in the form of calls (to police or otherwise), contacting sponsors, contacting anyone who works with him, etc to present information out of context in an attempt to cause emotional and financial harm. Whenever they are successful, the fruits are always the top rated posts of the entire saidit, so it isn't a case of a few bad apples.

Just wanted to lend that perspective because it is important, given that the community is exceptionally skilled at manipulating and gaslighting in order to deflect and build walls of plausible deniability. I think it is all very entertaining and warped, and I don't think that removing them from this community would do anything. They'll just set up shop somewhere else. Just wanted to add a bit of truth to this since it is very much a war of words between sides who are very invested in things. Most people typing here have been a part of these communities for years. So yeah, that's the truth. Hi to all the IP2 who will say I am from ice's dead discord / pissboi yes man.
