You know DDOS attacks are illegal don't you? i.e. you are a victim of criminal activity, this isn't just some "activists", these are criminals attacking you. You have every right to call the authorities.

I mean in theory, yes, but there's widespread DDOS attacks across the internet and they're not able to stop them so I doubt they'll care about us or be able to do anything if they did

I know you're busy as hell and probably broke to boot, but I bet if Wells Fargo calls the FBI and says they're under DDOS attack they get some resources. My completely ignorant belief is the government uses DDOS attacks as a way to passively silence thought criminals by allowing Cloudflare et al to deny services to said thought criminals, services they themselves should be providing as part of law enforcement. Much as they stand down when The Right marches and Antifa attacks them.

Well I will just say for the record that we've never had any issues with cloudflare ever. But I can see what you are saying.

And also if you think the feds are corrupted like that, then why do you think calling them is a good idea? haha

Better than nothing. I don't want my account being hacked, I'm sure the rest of us don't, either.

Yes, quite the conundrum. This is always the dilemma of a corrupt government, who the Hell do you go to for help?

And when I say "uses DDOS attacks", as my analogy tries to make clear, they turn a blind eye, but shoving it in their faces AND perhaps some sympathetic civil rights organizations, press, etc. to do something might embarrass them into action. You have to understand the ADL tells the FBI what to do in the case of the Alt Right. This is well documented. It won't be long till the ADL comes knocking on your door. Mark my words.
