    Yes it is.

It's basically a trad-wife /stay at home mommy sub. You know, the kind of stuff that gets us labeled as being white supremacists. We got attacked and trolled so hard that we had to set up automod to make it that ALL posts had to be manually approved by a mod. The problem is that the insane asylum called Reddit dominates all the traffic.

So what are we supposed to do?

Many of the subscribers had been hoping to use the subreddit to promote our home based businesses and/or blogs. We kind of needed to attract enough people in order to (a) establish a community of similarly minded people and (b) use it as a place to advertise without attracting the weirdos. I mean, I had an Etsy store and I sold homemade diapers. I started getting requests for adult sized diapers and as a capitalist I don't ask questions but I closed down my store when when people started sending me photos of what they've done in their diapers. (I've got young children and in real life I do a lot of marketing at church sales) Needless to say, an online group that we can control just makes a lot of sense for us.

Part of the problem is your group attacks other groups that get labelled as "white supremacists", too. The groups that are hated by all the SJWs need to band together and fight against censorship, rather than coming here, being divided, and fighting each other.

We don't attack anyone. Well feminists and pro-abortion get slammed.

Can you honestly say you (or your sub) have never attacked any sort of mens rights group?

I can honestly say that we've never allowed anyone to attack any men's rights groups. It's a Trad wife sub. That means it's pro-nuclear family and pro-traditional values. We can't exactly be attacking men when they're our husbands, fathers of our children and sons.

Well allright, then. Forgive my skepticism; almost every other female dominated sub does not share your views.

There is 1 small, albeit vocal, minority of females that hate men and most are under 25 (or gay) and they're all on the Internet. Whereas the vast majority of us ladies don't give a rat's bottom about feminism and what we really want are men that can get decent jobs. Believe it or not, all of us on some level are still dreaming the 1950s dream but we're scared to death of saying something because we've been fed a line of malarky about careers, etc.

Well yeah, you double the available workforce and everyones pay tanks. Basic economics.

It's one of many reasons for the current situation. Just the same, you're righ.

My husband and I were talking about this topic this morning on our way to drop him at work. Forgive me if this isn't a good place to ask or if you're not interested in explaining. Why the 50s? And why are the 50s considered traditional in the US, despite it being a blip in time and not around long enough to start a tradition? Dont get me wrong, I love the aesthetic. I'm midway through sewing up a vintage style 50's wrap dress.

The times themselves were very prosperous, as things can be post-war, but at the same time it was very.. consumerist? Like a beautiful painting, but absolutely devoid of feeling. It was in fashion for the men to work late constantly, heavily drink, cheat on their wives and even beat them, and be generally shitty to their children. There's the meme of the 50s housewife day drinking and/or tossing back antidepressants, and I'm not sure how much truth that holds (but after staying home with my children for several years, I could kind of understand how it would become reality). It just doesn't seem like anyone was truly happy.

As far as careers go taking care of small children, managing home finances and the household, and having a small business on the side is not a small feat. That's difficult to manage and still extremely respectable. Side things like your small business are important for growth and expression of ourselves outside of our husband and children (especially since children will eventually leave the home after they're grown and ready).

One of the things my husband and I have done is limit our home to just 1 computer. Even our phones are dumb phone with pretty much only the basics on them. When you consider that we homeschool our kids and they need to use the computer for their homework then "dirty diapers" isn't something you want flashing up in a message.

When I'm crossposting I'm trying to get subscribers to our sub.

As far as upvotes are concerned, I don't give a hoot about them. I only got angry about downvotes because those comments would be automatically be hidden. Honestly, I find all popularity contests to be juvenile.

On Saidit the only subs that are making any progress are: /s/News /s/Politics /s/Conspiracy /s/Worldpolitics

No one is really interested in anything else.

There are plenty of other healthy subs on saidit by admin has decided to ban them from s/new and s/all and treat them like something to be ashamed of.

The thing is that we want to kick Reddit in the toodles and be done with the site. But the fact is that we were able to take a very hated niche (TradWives) and in 6 months build it up to 2.6k subscribers. On Saidit, we can barely get 1 subscriber ever 2 weeks.

Posts like these are open windows into why the country is burning right now. People are such slaves to money that they have no integrity anymore and will sell out at the drop of a hat or run back to a cancerous hellhole that is helping to destroy the country to make a dollar.

Everyone has bills to pay and the more Marxist a nation becomes the more we're going to have to pay. Sadly, I only see the Marxists fighting for what they want. Conservatives seem to be more silent than grasshoppers.

Of.... if your mind is on money their minds are on you.

Money flow baby since the erection of the federal corporation.

But we're just not getting the interest or subscribers on Saidit.

That's because people are realizing that saidit plays curation and censorship games just like reddit does. Why would people come here and invest time when saidit has clearly started to show that just like reddit it's admin selling out and getting rid of dissident voices?
