Recently I noticed a post/comment report reason that seems new-ish
"Content is Illegal in USA (piracy content, illegal selling, etc)"
- Is SaidIt hosted in the U.S. nowadays, hence is following U.S. law? Used to be Switzerland but that's probably changed.
- Does this mean SaidIt follows DMCA copyright law & enforces DMCA removals? Technically this also means something like https://saidit.net/s/piracy is going to need heavier moderation, or will need to be removed entirely.
Maybe this is old news but I couldn't find an earlier post discussing this. If SaidIt is now following U.S. law, & DMCA, then it is pretty much identical to Reddit at least in terms of copyright and piracy enforcement.
