OK, how do we activate the keyword blocker?

The headphone posts are getting ridiculous. /u/vulptex - you were saying somewhere that there's a keyword block admin tool somewhere, but it's unusable because it has no interface. Can you point me toward it? I'm considering getting someone on Fiverr to write one if it's not a months long endeavour.

i created filter for ublock origin
if you only want keyword blocker:
saidit.net##.thing.link:has(a.title:has-text(/bone conduction/i))
to block other keywords place it to instead of bone conduction

Reddit Enhancement Suite should just get support for Saidit or be forked. No, I won't do it, but that's a good solution.

That particular tool doesn't exist that I'm aware of. It wouldn't be hard to implement, but in any case I doubt it would be pushed to the live site any time soon.

Darn. /u/magnora7 - Is there a pathway to getting new stuff added to the admin tools? Vulptex also wrote a backlog of stuff he's put on git that seems would be helpful.

Yes, but he's afraid to use git, and manually copying and pasting every change is a monumental feat.

I understand why he's worried. He should take a full disk image so he can restore it in the worst case scenario. I highly highly doubt it will cause any severe issues though, maybe a few errors that need to be fixed.

Is he afraid even of adding you as a collaborator and letting you push the changes? He doesn't need to touch the CLI for that.

But I'm also asking because a simple solution is to make more users admin. Gravi made a post about that but we don't even know if he's seen it.

I can't simply update the live site. Whoever runs the server has to pull from my repo. I don't think the owner has a repo online that I could be a collaborator in. d3rr ran the "official" one but now he's pointing users to mine.

/u/magnora7 is already here under a different username and he's watching everything we do because this website is his baby he's monitoring it all the time but he's doing it quietly.

The only thing he's concerned about is building a good foundation of a user base and creating a website that has market value because he intends to sell out.

Did you think he was doing this for his health?

Features include guest posting, a discussion-centric layout, a good design that doesn't hijack your attention, content curation both based on activity and likes, a good search feature so the website can become an archive of information, file attachments, multimedia embeds, group PMs, tags, and notifications for likes that tell you who liked your comment, to name a few.

I think I blocked 2 or 3 usernames and I can’t recall the last time I saw a bone conduction ad. Is this some kind of problem/reaction/solution operation?
