M7 has asked us to upvote non-spam posts and I try to, but I miss things. If you tag me in the comments (it doesn't notify people if you tag them in the post text) I will upvote it.

Maybe a few others will be willing to do the same? You can tag 3 people per comment max, otherwise the notifications will not go out.

We can get the legitimate posts above all the spam this way.

Just report spam.

It's a Zen thing, like a cleaning routine.

And the more people do it, the faster it goes away.

There's more spam than legitimate posts and it's two clicks to visit a post and upvote it versus 3 for report->spam->send.

More and more and more. It might be notable that as I was reporting each and every post of all these spammers yesterday and today, it was necessary for me to confirm my status as human no less than ten times during the entire process, which clearly did not hamper the rather prolific spamming.

Also noteworthy, I'm able to do this now because I have free time. I cannot keep this up. My system is to load the front page and click the "new" tab at the top. (Also had to confirm that nI hadn't become a robot or something while posting this. Please understand the annoyance felt when the purpose seems to be to hamper participation here when the spam does not stop.

All these accounts take turns continuing to post the same type of spam

A somewhat prolific one

This comment concerned a series of "harisjamal" accounts spamming. The spammer continues to create numerous new accounts (harisjamal and a number appended) and continues to spam. All "harisjamal" rooted usernames need to be banned and their content deleted.
