Hello, I moderate some small Reddit subs, and I just opened up a sister sub here - s/EffectiveAltruism.
Is there some guide or set of expectations/norms for moderation here? I know this place is more about free speech than Reddit is. But just how absolutely? Note, I very rarely delete things on Reddit anyway.
I note that here, people can upvote things just as being funny, so I am not worried about humor detracting from serious conversations. However, without downvotes, I'm a bit more worried about personal attacks and snark being unpoliced.
As moderator is it my job to enforce the pyramid of debate?
