I don't say this enough but I love reading these updates about the minutia changes behind the scenes that many of us don't even notice that improve our lives and take us little steps towards conquering the world.

Yay, nice work.

Thanks for fixing the NSFW thing; I'm less concerned about accidentally clicking on WPDTalk or something now.

Completely unrelated: I've noticed some people adding CSS to limit interactions to subscribers only – something that I don't think is extremely ethical nor useful. Is CSS that forces people to subscribe like that acceptable?

It's okay, I've got no issues with it tbh. It's easy to subscribe, takes literally 1 click

What if you don't want to be subscribed?

What does it matter? A subscription is not an endorsement of anything, especially on saidit where everyone is auto-subscribed to everything

But the subbed list is still useful for many.

Then subscribe, leave a comment, and unsubscribe.

What if the CSS hides the "unsubscribe" button? Then we'll have to go through our subscribed list, find it and unsubscribe from there.

disable subreddit styles

There isn't a button to do that here; we would need to manually tell our browsers not to use the stylesheet, which is a high barrier to entry despite it being fairly easy. (And if there was a button, somebody could just hide the button.)

Actually you can disable custom sub CSS in your user preferences if you wish
