Jokes and controversial subjects are allowed!
With this sub I want to encourage more humour and self-criticism in science. People can take science much too serious. Feel free to give a thorough answer to a silly question or reverse.
In my scientific career, I noticed that answers are different, depending on the level. Reality is often much more complex and different than expected. Censorship, peer-reviewing, futurism and corruption have reduced the self-correction of science. This all breaks science apart.
In the question or answer you can specify your viewpoint or seriousness with <tags>

<WIKI> Explain via wikipedia.
<HS> Explain like I am on highschool

<PHD> Explain like a PhD (fun)
<POP> Explain like a popular science article (fun)
<MAD> Explain like a mad professor (fun)
<ZEN> Explain like a Zen master (fun)
