How to know WHERE to post

If your NOT English(and not so good with the language) it can be difficult to figure out what the correct subpost is for your post+its also very ehh demanding(gives me a headache) to read the hole list of subs trying to find 1 that suitable, so it would be handy if you got some sugestions when you are making a post, like automatic a positive robot who helps yeh insted of a negative reddit robot who kicks yeh in the &*$#...and PLEASE dont say this is the wrong place to post this, because thats my issue/problem...ps= i also see mostly NO discription in the subs which makes it even harder to figure out what a certain sub is about

Yeah, some category & keyword lists would be useful.

Tbh the best way is to type something in to the sub bar when you're posting, and see what pops up.

Like if you type "world" you'll see worldnews and worldpolitics and many others.

That's how I do it.

And if you don't know, you can always just post to /s/whatever. It's for things that don't have a home

The sub bar requires you start the word correctly. I CTRL-F search entire page to aim for a sub if I'm not sure.

It highlights parts of words that may not be at the beginning. ie. search for "music" and you'll see things like "ComedyMusic" and "HouseMusic" as well as all that start with "music".

And it lets you know if you need a different sub title. ie. search for "just" and you'll see "JustDuet" but nothing on "Justice".

We've only started this, but eventually hope these categorizations will help narrow down more focused topical searches.
